![]() ![]() ![]() Personally I prefer the second method (getting your MIDI take how you want it and then bouncing the multi-out software instrument track in place), but YMMV. I edited my post and added a link to an article showing the first method (recording the MIDI + audio tracks live). See here for example of that inconvenience: Keep in mind though that the multi-out configuration of your software instrument might make it difficult to get each track in the ideal format (mono vs stereo), and unfortunately Logic does not make it easy either to work around that problem. In that case you need to load a multi-output instance of EZDrummer 3, then you'll be able to record the audio from EZDrummer 3's outputs live as you record the MIDI performance (by routing the multi-out aux outputs to the inputs of regular audio tracks, see a step by step example here with Logic 9, still applies today), or alternatively do it by recording the MIDI performance first then Bounce Track In Place and choosing the options seen here: So it sounds like the audio you want to record is the one coming out of EZDrummer 3 not your TD27 module, and besides your TD27 module you have a V-Drums kit you are playing, right? I got the sense that I could record both audio - broken down into multiple tracks for sending to a producer to mix I am using a Roland TD27 to trigger EZDrummer 3 sounds. ![]()
